Britney Spears comes to Bollywood

Just like some Indian actors are hoping to get a break in Hollywood, some celebs in the west are trying to try out their luck in India.

The latest is that Britney Spears will be collaborating with Sonu Niigaam on a remix of her popular number, I wanna go.

'So excited about having @sonuniigaam on I Wanna Go. His vocals add such a different feel which I love! Watch out Bollywood. It's Sonu and Britney,' Spears tweeted.

Sonu welcomed her aboard. 'India loves you Britney. Welcome to Bollywood! Am loving the fact that it's OUR Collaboration that marks your first step here. God bless you and more power to Great Music!!! :)' he tweeted.

When Sian Evans sang for SRK

Britney Spears isn't the only one.

British singer Sian Evans, who seems to be a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, sang her song Louder on the streets of London for him.

SRK tweeted: 'Sian Evans sang 'louder' her hit single on the streets of london for me...so spontaneously. All the best Sian for ur madness & music.'

He added: 'The only thing I miss about holidays is work. Official end of time with kids & late nite ingestion of junk food & films. Bak home tomorrow.'

Home sweet home

Celina Jaitly is missing her hometown Kashmir. '2day oddly my heart aches 4 the comfort of the snow clad mountains ,the old rose bush,& violet laden foothills of himalayas I grew up on,' she tweeted.

Arun Rampal, on the other hand, is home. 'Back home, feet up, loving my dogs, gangsta and Demi,they stuck to me,ghar ka khana,oh so good to be back,' he updated.

Rahul Bose missed his home, in his own way. '2 hours & counting on the roads. Driving rain providing apocalyptic backdrop. Sigh. this is what I was missing. Am home. *contented smile*' he tweeted.

Neil Nitin Mukesh tweeted about his views on love.

'Love at first sight is possible ! Some time the connect and vibe is so strong !!! But one thing is also true that love can happen again and again. As long as you have a heart ! For me love is an essential and very important part of my life. It completes me ! Unfortunately right now I'm single :(' he tweeted.

Uday Chopra, who has quit Bollywood, is also looking for love. 'Yes Im still in LA..studying in UCLA..starting a new career and searching for true love in all the wrong places..but maybe not in that order,' he tweeted.

New mum Konkona Sen Sharma is back to work. The National Award winning actress, who will be appearing in her mother's next film Iti Mrinalini, shared the trailer of the film on twitter.

Iti Mrinalini revolves round the life of an actress, as she looks back on her past as a successful star in Bengali cinema.

The film releases on July 29.

Karan to make Student Of The Year 2?

After the success of Murder 2, the Bhatts are already busy planning Murder 3. Karan Johar, who has not yet directed a sequel, poked fun.

He tweeted: 'with sequels exploding the box office...maybe I should make STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2....before I make the original!!!'
