Deepika, Ash add glam to KHJJS premiere

Traditional seems to be the dress code at the glittering premiere of Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, in Mumbai on Thursday.

One of the film's leads, Deepika Padukone was the cynosure of all eyes when she stepped out in this gorgeous red sari.

The movie, which is based on the Chittagong uprising in Bengal, releases today.

Abhishek Bachchan, who plays freedom fighter Surjya Sen, arrived with gorgeous wife Aishwarya Rai.

Abhishek's parents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan joined director Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife Sunita on the red carpet.

Vidya Malvade and Sameera Reddy looked gorgeous in their traditional outfits.

Hrithik Roshan and wife Sussanne are greeted by the Gowarikers and Abhishek.

Sonali Bendre, a close friend of the Bachchans, arrives on the red carpet. Minissha Lamba made an appearance as well.

The Khers -- Anupam, Sikandar and Kirron -- present a united front. Sikandar plays one of the freedom fighters in KHJJS.

Bhagyashree and Genelia D'Souza looked smoking hot in these sexy saris.

Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Choudhry were seen at two events on the same day: they attended the Colors' telly award show, as well as the KHJJS premiere.

Also spotted at the Colors' event were actors John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and director Sajid Khan.

Filmmakers Karan Johar and Anurag Basu also put in an appearance.

Bigg Boss 3 winner Vindu Dara Singh arrived with Russian wife Dina Umarova.

Parul Chauhan of Bidaai fame and Govinda's niece Ragini Khanna were also spotted at the award's show. The latter will be one of the contestants of the upcoming dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
