Take this fun poll NOW!

A mother's love! What can compare with it?

This simple quote attributed to anonymous conveys volumes of a mother's capacity to feel for her child.

And then it doesn't matter if the mother happens to be a famous celebrity; they all exude unconditional warmth or turn ferociously protective when concerned with their child’s best interests.

Bollywood's super mommies are no different.

That dreaded 'no comments' stance goes out of the window when asked to speak about how life has changed since the arrival of their bonny baby.

At once, they transform into a picture of gooey, gushing, motherly love.

And so, as Mother's Day approaches, we ask you, dear readers, to take this fun poll and vote for Bollywood’s mushiest mom in your opinion.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Her world famous beauty won her pageants and hearts but the one who means the world to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan today is her two-year-old daughter, Aaradhya.

Whether she’s carting her little princess in chic pink dresses or beaming like a proud mom talking about the time Aaradhya sang 'Happy Birthday' on her star mommy’s 40th birthday, the Guru heroine is happy to let her career take backseat to stay focussed to her latest role with utmost perfection.

Shilpa Shetty

Unlike her privacy-obsessed colleagues, Shilpa Shetty loves to share updates about her tiny tot, Viaan Raj Kundra.

They’ve posed on magazine covers. They’ve watched cricket matches live from the stadium. What’s more Viaan, who turns two later this month, has his own Twitter account with more than 11,000 followers thanks to his enthusiastic mother tweeting details of her son’s regular progress, holidays and general well-being.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene

Madhuri Dixit gave up Bollywood at the peak of her career to settle in domestic bliss with US based spouse, Dr Sriram Nene.

Away from the glare of show business, she gave her two sons Arin and Ryan a healthy, normal upbringing before decided to return to India and introduce her boys to their roots and culture.

Shy and sweet, Arin and Ryan are still surprised by their iconic mother’s celebrity status but the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa judge likes to keep it that way in keeping with her judicious blend of discipline and indulgence approach.

But it’s hard to miss that extra sparkle in her million-dollar smile when she speaks about them or poses for pictures during family holidays.

Sridevi

She may have played an unappreciated mom in English Vinglish but Sridevi is far from one around her fashionable daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi.

Speaking about her relationship with her girls, Sri once told Rediff.com, "I am a very protective and possessive mother. I feel daughters, after a certain age, become friends. We like to dress up together and spend time together."

That explains all those fun and stylish pictures of the Kapoor women at red carpets events or exotic holidays.

Kajol

For Kajol, her kids -- Nysa and Yug are foremost priority.

Even though filmmakers continue to queue up at her door with projects, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge star cannot be tempted to stay away from her kids unless she’s completely convinced.

Despite her work commitments, Kajol devotes all her free time doing fun and educational activities with her kids.

No wonder she makes for such a cool, believable mom in movies too.

Twinkle Khanna

Twinkle Khanna keeps away from media glare but one of Bollywood’s most stylish star daughter turned star wife and entrepreneur is quite a five-star mom as well.

Though she rarely gives interviews, her breezy columns in DNA offer a wonderful glimpse of how dedicated a mother she is.

Here's something aww-inducing she wrote in her column for DNA, "Every mom is, and has always been, an event planner, a private tutor, a cook, a cleaning lady, a psychologist, a minor accountant and an ever-ready dispenser of hugs, kisses and band-aids."

Raveena Tandon

Did you know Raveena Tandon would put her brood to sleep by singing them a lullaby when they were little?

Both daughter Raasha and son Ranbir dote on their ravishing mum who often shares snippets of their adorable offerings like handmade cards and crafts.

As stated in her many interviews, any acting assignment has to be really worth her while for the soon-to-be-seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet star to stay away from her precious ones.

Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor came out with her book, My Yummy Mummy Guide last year. And one look at the sleek beauty and her children is enough to make us lap up that title.

Though it’s not all fun and games in the Kapoor household.

While she lets her sister Kareena play the pampering aunt to Samaira and Kiaan to the hilt, Lolo likes to keep them grounded on her own.

The blue-eyed star shares a no-nonsense rapport with her kids instead of spoiling them rotten.

Read that NO going overboard watching cartoons on television.

Lara Dutta Bhupati

"I love being a hands-on mother," coos Lara Dutta who rather spend her time playing with her two-year old cutie, Saira instead of dabbing pancake to face the arc lights.

If you follow the star of hits like Andaz, Partner and Don 2 on Twitter, you'll notice how Saira dominates the subject of majority of her updates.

Here's a sampler that says it all: "I think school is harder for me than it is for Saira!"
