A R Rahman met with many but tweeted post the screening of 127, Danny Boyle's latest: 'With Mademoiselle Sharon Stone ... after a screening of 127 hours... She had kind things to say about the movie and the music.'

Preity Zinta's Blackberry posted a picture of her on its own over the weekend. The actor tweeted, 'Oops ! That was me in St. Petersburg. Don't know how it got posted. Must lock my phone in future :-)'

Bipasha Basu, on the other hand, tweeted from Australia pictures of her dogo Posto sun tanning and also herself on what she called a 'Breezy, cloudy, romantic day in gold coast!?' She added, 'Weekend finally!1st time in my life understood d concept of weekends!Shop, spa,socialize,beach,pool,SLEEP Dr 2 full days!Have 2 fit all in!'

Farah Khan posted pictures of her beach party at Juhu to promote Tees Maar Khan. 'Thank u akki,kat,sonu,raghu n rajiv.abhijeet sawant,debojit n kamal khan.1 helluva event'. She then posted her pic with Akshay on their chartered flight to Nagpur.

Preity Zinta's going all out to make sure things work out on two fronts: Kings XI arbitration and her squeaky clean reputation. 

She tweeted over the weekend, 'Jaydeep Ghosh, Delhi journalist responsible 4 spreading vile rumours about me. Says i went 2 rehab in the US ! Really easy to destroy hard-earned reputations with a few brazen acts.We need to give serious thought 2 media ethics,expectations of payment for good publicity & acts of retribution if one fails to pay up 2 the"media mafia"like Ghosh! 4 now my lawyers & the police will do what it takes to give him what he rightfully deserves. What's more she's got macho man Salman Khan's support. In response to her request, 'Salman can I pls borrow your muscles ? Only for a day I promise ;-) Need to Dishum Dishum !!!!!!!!', he tweeted back, 'Haha any time my dear, hope all gets sorted. Standing rite beside's u n hope the rest of the industry as well,fans,press n the law godbls.' 

He also added, 'She has to get her team bak I hv Never met any1 so straight,clear, positive,clean,hard working,fights her own battle single handed.'

Amitabh Bachchan is doing all he can to make sure his son's latest gets a favourable response from the audience if not critics. He tweeted, 'It is late 3 : 23 AM !! And I have just finished my Blog and Twitter activities and this is what I have to say' and posted a link of what he thinks of critics and reviews and journalists, who ' find ways and means to crucify and bury whatever I may have to say in support of the subject.'

He also tweeted to critics Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra, an email posted by his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her views on the movie. 'My daughter Shweta went to see KHJJS and has sent me an email of what she thought. I felt it was important enough to be read ..'

In the meanwhile, Abhishek found support from co-star Hrithik Roshan too. The actor tweeted, 'Saw khjjs, what can I say, I'm an ashutosh gwarekar FAN!! Abhishek carries d film, deepika stuns, such honesty in all aspects of d film!I laughed n cried.. Came out proud to be an indian!'

These days, there are more tweets about television than movies! Madhuri Dixit-Nene tweets, 'Finally gotten over jetlag. Just finished shooting the first episode. The talent is amazing! So happy to be back in Mumbai!'

Karan Johar, who shot with Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapur for his next edition of Koffee With Karan tweeted, 'Ok guys!! Goodnight!! The shahid-pc episode was superb!!! Shooting with SRK 2mor...him solo!! An indepth koffee chat about everything!!'

Whoever said Sonam Kapoor is all about firang brands and Uncle Chips alone? She tweeted over the weekend as she wrapped her schedule in Patiala, 'Last day in patiala.. bought beautiful mojdis, patiala salwars, phulkari duppattas and parandas, great craftsmanship here. Local artisans are extremely talented. But a lot of the local crafts like phulkari embroidery are dying.. Its really sad because their work is so fine and beautiful.'

She tweeted pictures of the phulkari, mojdis and also raved about the yummy food she had at the local gurdwara, 'Also dis darshan at the local kali temple and prayed at the historical gurudvara and had yummy langar. All parts of india are so beautiful, I'm so proud to be an Indian.'

Sonam's also proud to be her father's daughter as she retweeted all the comments and rave response for Anil Kapoor's appearance on Big Boss.

She re-tweeted what PR to the stars Nilufer Q said, 'Rediscovered Anil Kapoor on Bigg Boss...he was fantastic...will defintely watch No Problem now!!!' and also journalist Sarita Tanwar said, 'Anil Kapoor rocked Bigg Boss today. Lara Dutta tweeted on the new brand in her kitty. She said, 'Am very happy to be associated with Kellogs Special K! Great, healthy start to the day! Actor Sameera Reddy also seemed to have a buzzing weekend after her return from Dubai. She tweeted,'Just flagged off the 25th international marathon in Pune! The energy is unbelievable! 40000 Ppl taking part! Such a vibrant city!'

And Neha Dhupia  clicked here at the Golden Temple, had a happy weekend with rave responses for her latest effort at the box office.
