Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi to shoot after 18 years

Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi, who were last seen together on screen in the 1993 blockbuster Khuda Gawah, will share screen space in R Balki's wife Gauri Shinde's debut film English Vinglish.

'Shooting today with the effervescent Sri Devi after eternity almost .. for R Balki's wife's directed film 'English Vinglish".. Sri Devi still the same .. spontaneous and lovely ..!! Gauri, R Balki's wife .. directing film .. woman power at peak .. my second experience .. eventually women will take over the world !' Bachchan tweeted.

Sridevi plays a housewife, who meets Bachchan's character on a flight. The latter has a cameo in the film, not a full-fledged role.

Actors love to listen to the music of their own movies, as well as their colleagues'.

Abhishek Bachchan prefered to listen to songs from his own movie: 'Rainy morning spent listening to Delhi 6. Puts an instant smile on your face. So how's the crew today?'

Shah Rukh Khan has a hectic schedule for next four days for Ra.One but took time out to thank Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra for their cameos in the film.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Aarakshan got a clean chit from the Censor Board. ''Aarakshan' seen by Censors today and gets a UA Certificate without a single cut .. that is something !!' Bachchan wrote.

Thanks to Anil Kapoor's, and now Sonam's busy careers, the family has not taken a vacation together in seven years. But they have finally managed it now.

Rhea Kapoor tweeted: 'Off for a family vacay with dad, mom, harsh and sona after 7 years!!! @sonamakapoor & I counted and its been 7 yrs. Shameful. So excited!'

Sonam later tweeted that they had landed at their undisclosed holiday destination.

Sonakshi Sinha was up after midnight but yet played a game of Scrabble before going to bed. 'After a long, long day...retiring to scrabble at night before I spell myself to sleep,' she tweeted.

Karan Johar, on the other hand, was up early. He wrote: 'When sleep evades you...you know life awaits you.'

New mother Mandira Bedi didn't agree. She wrote back: 'When sleep evades me: it's time for the 2am feed!'

Meanwhile, Shreya Ghosal decided to go to bed early. '2mrw we are having some major fun and excitement at the sets of @XFactorSony. Need to sleep soon to get up on time to reach d shoot,' she updated.
