Bollywood stars tweeted their support for social activist Anna Hazare, who is presently observing an indefinite fast to exert pressure on the government to enact a strong Lokpal Bill.
Soha Ali Khan tweeted: 'Anna s 4th fast unto death is underway but civil society seems unconvinced or bored or distracted by Gagan' s bronze medal.. Have we given up on a chance at clean politics or do we disagree with his authoritarian tactics and motley supporters?'
Pritish Nandy wrote: 'Today is the 7th day of the fast against corruption. Stop being indifferent. This war must be won if India is to move ahead.'
Raveena Tandon is visibly upset with the politics. '2 weeks since am back,and not still wanting to read the newspapers..depressing! With the anna movement frozen in a time warp,I support...Get disheartened with the politics there too..seems like a unopenable knot that gets tangles further while u feel u reaching the solution,' she updated.

Television actor Ram Kapoor, who is busy shooting for his popular soap Bade Acche Lagte Hain, asked his fans to have faith in the show's current track. 'Keep the faith guys! Fashion designer Manish Malhotra is presently working on a short film. 'Back in mumbai and working on my 2:5minute film that iam shooting on my couture collection. First time so anxious and excited :-) the film will be show at my couture show in delhi 11th aug,' he wrote.
Despite the good box office response to his film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Tusshar Kapoor seems quite upset.
