In view of the gang-ape incident in Delhi, Bollywood stars are in no mood to party. Here's what they said:

Soha Ali Khan: 'Heading to Mumbai after walking for Raghuvendra Rathore at the Royal Salute Gala in Jodhpur. No mood to 'party' this new years. A quiet one.'

Shabana Azmi: 'No celebrations for New Year. Time to reflect and to solemnly affirm in Gandhi's words that we will 'be the change we wish to see'.'

Anubhav Sinha: 'No party this year. Just didn't feel like it. Just son and his friends and some butter chicken for them. Love cooking for them.'

Pooja Bedi: 'I am not going out to any party tonight! Will sit on my terrace with my loved ones and bring it in quietly!!! What about you?'

Shah Rukh Khan spends time with family

Shah Rukh Khan, who recently completed shooting for Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express, is enjoying his time with his family. The actor is in Dubai with his family and friend Karan Johar for the New Year.

'With kids since yesterday...just playing board games...and listening to their innocent happy banter. May they always remain childlike,' he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Madhuri Dixit is Mauritius with her family. 'A new year is dawning. With it, many challenges will come, both personal and professional. We must enjoy every moment as it is precious. So get ur resolutions written and and enjoy the eve of 2013. Tomorrow is another year!' she wrote.

Shirish Kunder: 2012 has been the worst year of my life

The year 2012 has been a bad one for Shirish Kunder. While his film Joker flopped, he was also ousted from Salman Khan'sKick. 

'2012 finally comes to an end. This has officially been the worst year of my life. Many lessons learnt. Moving on to a better life,' he tweeted.

 For some, success means getting to be amongst other successful people. And for some, it means getting to do what they really want to do,' he tweeted.

The filmmaker also got into a spat with Shah Rukh Khan at a party in January organised by Sanjay Dutt.

Varun Dhawan: My dad is back to being hale and hearty

Student Of The Year debutant Varun Dhawan, who returned home to be with his father David Dhawan, is relieved that he is out of danger and doing well.

Thanking his fans, he wrote: 'For everyone who was concerned thank you. My DaD is back home and back to being hail and hearty.DD sends his love.'

The filmmaker had forgotten to eat the mandatory sweet food after his insulin injection and fainted at Bunty Walia's wedding party last weekend.
