The Twitter world is quite a busy one, and Bollywood contributes a great deal to it. Here's looking at the best star tweets of the day.
Bollywood joined hands in hands with Mumbaikars and athletes for the Mumbai Marathon 2011.
Neha Dhupia, who added some oomph to the marathon, tweeted 'Running the marathon was an absolute delight, ran for 'Concern India' and, of course, the spirit of Mumbai!'
Sidhartha Mallya, who ran the full marathon, tweeted: 'I DID IT! Just ran the full distance in the Mumbai Marathon!! I can't even begin to explain how it felt to cross the finish line!! Amazing!'
And Purab Kohli was late. 'I may have not won the Marathon but I was surely the Last to start. Gun shot 6.15am. Purab open eyes 6.16am. A Record of sorts!' he wrote. Looks like Purab missed the best Mumbai Marathon.
Whereas Rahul Bose called it the best marathon. He wrote, 'In 8 yrs, this was the best mumbai marathon to run. It was cooler than ever before. Little wonder aseefa broke mumbai's 2hr10min barrier.'
Arbaaz Khan is on a roll as his film Dabangg won 8 out of 17 nominations at the Zee Cine Awards. He informed, 'Had another rich haul @ zee awards. Won 8 out of 17 nominations for Dabangg. A record number in nominations. Congrats team Dabangg. Kudos :)'
The only thing stopping him from being ecstatic it seems is: 'The fact is that Salman deserves the best actor award in the popular category at every award function for Dabangg. Ignoring Salman may clearly have to do with the fact that he refuses 2 accept the awards if given in spite of him being present at the event.'
'Dabangg is receiving so many awards mainly due to Salman's performance, hard work & star power. We are all very proud of him and thank him!,' he added. 'I guess everybody has their reasons. What is evident is that Salman believes in rewards and a successful film and not awards. Each 2 his own.'
We wonder what SRK, who has been sweeping the Best Popular Actor award in every award show, has to say about this.
With the entire zodiac ruckus, Bollywood stars seems worried about their future, too.
Filmmaker Ken Ghosh tweeted, 'Though dates of the Zodiac have changed, I still remain a Leo, and if you are born between Nov 30th- Dec 17th you are now a Ophiuchus.'
Riteish Deshmukh didn't seem happy at all: 'I am dec 17 - I am a saggi - I don't care - naya sign bhad mein jaaye.'
Shreya Goshal, on the other hand, was worried. She tweeted, 'Is it true!! Well, I am safe. my bday just landed rt on the cusp of being a Piscean. Bach gaya! So the zodiac change thing was a rumor. Confirmed? Mere ko bohot stress ho raha hai!'
As the debate rages, we wonder if Ashutosh Gowariker's next would be called What's Your Raashee, Now? Just asking.
The heart-wrenching Sabarimala temple stampede that claimed 102 lives, disturbed Amitabh Bachchan He tweeted, 'horrified to learn of the tragedy at Sabrimalai .. I had done the pilgrimage once .. enlightening and peaceful !'
He also recalled his experience, 'Sabrimalai - up in the hills of Kerala, estimated 2nd largest pilgrimage after Vatican in World.. need to do penance for 45 days before undertaking the ... journey ... abstinence, veg food only one meal a day, sleep on floor, be bare feet, wear saffron or black, carry offering on head for the last final climb, difficult terrain ... and then witness the light across the mountain in distance on particular day of Sankranti ... no one has been able to decipher its origin ... a most fascinating , cleansing and godly experience, women above 60 only allowed .. I did the whole routine, soon after my 1982 accident !! before reaching the deity, to climb18 perpendicular steps to the God .. very tough ..'
Vivek Oberoi too prayed for the lost lives, 'I pray for lord ayyappa to give peace and moksha to the souls of those who died in this terrible accident and strength to their grieving families to bear the loss. We all know the pain of losing a loved one...let's pray for the victims of the #sabrimala tragedy and their families. Swamiye sharanam ayyappa.'
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma seemed upset with God. He requested Vivek, 'Also while u are at the prayer ask him why he allowed the accident in the 1st place. And in case they deserved the death why ask moksha for them. And if to give moksha was the reason behind the accident why call the accident terrible.'
Mandira Bedi, who recently shot topless for Vogue, was in a mood to shop for sarees. She tweeted, 'Sari-shopping is mostly fun.. But can also be tedious.. & downright depressing when u buy something just becoz the salesperson was so nice.'
Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhatt had an advice for writers, 'Writers tip: You are your own worst critic, and if you listen to yourself, you'll never finish. Just do it!'

Raima Sen, on the other hand, compared life to a taxi, 'Life is like a taxi. The meter just keeps a-ticking whether you are getting somewhere or just standing still.'
