Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had quite a busy weekend.

On Friday, she attended the Lavasa Women's Drive 2011 Awards at Mumbai's Hyatt Regency, which was a part of the Women's Day celebrations. Ash was awarded for the support she had shown their projects.

On Saturday, Ash attended the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female awards at Taj Lands' Ends in Bandra.

Kareena Kapoor had a hectic weekend as well. On Friday, she kickstarted the IIFA voting at Mumbai's JW Marriott, with Karan Johar.

On Saturday, she joined Ash at the Cosmopolitain awards show.

The Cosmopolitan awards show saw quite a celebrities like Malaika Arora Khan and Anushka Sharma.

Imran Khan and wife Avantika Malik arrived, wearing black.

Actresses weren't the only ones attending the awards function, celebrating Women's Day.

Actors like Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh showed up as well.

Newlyweds Neelam and Samir Soni still looked blissfully happy on the red carpet.

Neena Gupta's daughter designer Masaba and model-actress Lisa Haydon (who starred in the Sonam Kapoor-starrer Aisha) chose to come in black.

Hema Malini still looks beautiful on stage, as she danced at the Indian Merchant Chambers Ladies' Wing celebration of the 100 years of International Women's Day at Mumbai's Taj Hotel.

Esha Deol may not have films in hand but she certainly owns the stage.

Hema Malini's youngest daughter Ahana is rumoured to be making an acting debut this year. Until then, she made the stage come alive with her performance.
