Arjun Rampal debuts at Cannes Film Festival

Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia attended the 65th Cannes International Film Festival and caught up with Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Mehr apparently bullied her husband into getting their autographers for their daughters. 'In Beautiful Cannes,met Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Mehr, bullied me into getting their autographs for my daughters. Lol,' he tweeted.

The model-turned-actor made his maiden appearance at the festival as the brand ambassador for a liquor brand which is the  official partner of the event. 'Finished the red carpet here at Cannes Mehr absolutely stunning. I wore Rohit Bal, will post pics later. Thank u Team Chivas, it was fun,' he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor had her fan girl moment at the festival as well, as she met French actress Audrey Tautou. 'Just had a fan girl moment with audrey tautou! Omigod how gorg is she!' she wrote.

A week after their fallout, director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Sanjay Dutt have reportedly patched up, thanks to their common friend and filmmaker Ahmed Khan.

However, RGV tweeted, 'More than for sorting out my differences with Sanjay I am happy that the Evil disease is out of Sanjays life.'

The filmmaker got involved in a public fight over the failure of their film Department that resulted in the ouster of Dutt's manager Dharam Oberoi as CEO of his production house.

Delighted with the news, he wrote: 'Don't know if dharam is out of sanjays life but if true its the best news I heard cos he's more dangerous for sanjay than the 93 blast case.'

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji starrer Hum Tum was relesed eight years ago in 2004.

Director Kunal Kohli shared a collage made by a fan. 'Someone made this compilation of pix to celebrate Hum Tum's 8th anniversary,' he tweeted with the picture (above).
