April Movie Releases, coming to a theatre near you

April starts with a very interesting Friday.

David Dhawan's remake of 1981 classic Chashme Baddoor starring Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma and Taapsee Pannu, is all set to lock horns with the restored version of Sai Paranjpye's much loved original film on April 5.

Here's looking at other Hindi films slated to release this month.

Nautanki Saala

Cast: Ayushmann Khurrana, Kunal Roy Kapur, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma

Director: Rohan Sippy

Release date: April 12

The director of Bluffmaster returns after a haitus with a quirky story and interesting actors leading the cast.

While the Nautanki Saala soundtrack is already making waves, the film's fate will be sealed soon.

Commando

Cast: Vidyut Jamval, Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat

Director: Dilip Ghosh

Release date: April 12

The film boasts of a few melodious numbers, several action scenes and an extremely buff Jamval, who remains shirtless for most of the film. 

Ek Thi Daayan

Cast: Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin, Konkona Sen Sharma and Huma Qureshi

Director: Kannan Iyer

Release date: April 18

This spook fest sourrounding witches with a very eclectic star cast marks Kalki and Hashmi's second collaboration after Dibakar Banerjee's Shanghai.

Konkona returns to films after quite a while.

Rabba Main Kya Karoon

Cast: Tinnu Anand, Raj Babbar, Tahira Kochchar

Director: Amrit Sagar

Release date: April 19

Yet another film set in New Delhi, it centres on a lavish wedding and stars former Miss India contestant Tahia Kochchar.

I Love NY

Cast: Sunny Deol, Kangna Ranaut

Director: Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru

Release date: April 26

Sunny Deol makes a rather feeble-looking comeback with this ambiguously titled rom-com set in New York and focuses on the lead pair's story around new year's eve.
