Anita Advani is the latest housemate to be eliminated from the Bigg Boss 7 house. She had come to public notice as the live-in partner of the late superstar, Rajesh Khanna.
“I was shocked that I was evicted,” Anita says. “I didn’t play dirty politics and I think that worked against me. Nevertheless, the people in the house were friendlier than I imagined. I made a few friends but I was closest to Tanisha (Mukherjee). And we have decided to keep in touch even after the show.”

But there are certain house mates she certainly doesn’t want to be in touch with. Like Sangram Singh.
“There are certain people in the house that I don’t want to be in touch with. Behind my back Sangram said that that I am a ‘home breaker’. I was living with a man who was all alone. How can I be a ‘home breaker’ when Ashirwad (the Khanna residence) was already broken when I started living with him?”
Sangram himself is in a live-in relationship (with Payal Rohatgi) she pointed out. “Salman Khan (the show’s host) gave him a piece of his mind. I am glad he did. Sangram deserves it,” says Anita resentfully.
Anita participated in the reality show to get a break from everything and refresh her mind. “I was depressed and needed a change. For a few days at least I could forget all my worries.”
She is fighting Rajesh Khanna's estranged wife Dimple Kapadia for a share of his property.
“Another reason I took up Bigg Boss is for money as I am fighting a court case against his family and I need money for that. That's the reason I've started working again. I am trying to be independent. I am proud of my relationship with Rajeshji. I will fight the legal battle like a true fighter.”
She found friends in Tanisha and Shilpa and shared some private chapters of her life with them.
But Anita is very disappointed in another house mate Armaan, who lied about saving her from nominations when he actually voted for Kamya Panjabi.
"I cannot believe Armaan would do such a thing to me. He was always so nice and warm. I think I am just gullible and people take advantage of it. If given a chance, I would definitely love to go back to the house and teach him a lesson.”
Viewers expected her to open up more about the relationship between her and Rajesh Khanna, but she hardly spoke about it. Could this be one of the reasons that she was evicted?
“I did share a few things about my life with him (Rajesh Khanna) on the show during the discussions. But it wasn’t aired and I don’t know why. I feel I got out because I wouldn’t indulge in games or politics like others in the house.”
Some contestants were so “cunning” she says, that “it reminded me of my life outside the house."
She says what people saw on the show was her soft side. “If people try to rub me on the wrong side or do injustice to me then they will have it from me. I am not one who will allow anyone to walk over me,” she warns.
