Amitabh Bachchan, who had a surgery two months ago, has been suffering from 'excruciating pain' for the past couple of days.

'Apologies for this late arrival ... just setting up doc and scan etc for my pain .. bother .. it was excruciating !! Need to turn in early .. they prescribe some liquids to be taken before the CT Scan .. so .. will keep all the TwFmXt informed ..love,' he tweeted last night.

In the morning, he was surprised to find media vans outside his house. 'Oh dear..up at 6 am to go for dub of Bhojpuri film for my make up man..and..a fleet of media vans and tv camera chasing me ? Why ? Security asks media crew reason for chase, they refer to my Twitter on CT Scan..goodness ! Is that what power of twitter really is ?! Got to be careful of what to write on Twitter and Blog .. screenplay writers abound !!' he added.

He clarified that it was just another visit to doctor. 'Dearest tv media and vans outside my home, please do not stress and work so hard. Its nothing, just another visit to my doctor !!' he wrote.

Madhuri is back in action!

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is back in action.

The actress has signed on the sequel of Vishal Bhardwaj's Ishqiya -- titled Dedh Ishqiya -- to be directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who had directed the Vidya Balan-Naseeruddin Shah-Arshad Warsi original.

'Hey guys, back in action. On set for Star's Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishquiya . Jhalak right around the corner. More to come!' she tweeted.

Madhuri is rumoured to have been approached for a dance period film, directed by choreographer Remo D'Souza.

Preity gets back to work

Preity Zinta is back to working on her home production Ishkq in Paris. 'Now back to working on #Ishkqinparis and making the music ! Too many things to do and too little time. Dear God can I pls have a clone??' she updated.
