Kate Hudson gets engaged

It's official. Kate Hudson is engaged to rocker Matthew Bellamy.

The actress told Matt Lauer that she did not disclose her engagement news for a week because she was 'waiting for someone to notice.'

Hudson flashed her sparkler an emerald-cut diamond, flanked by two sparkling baguettes during her segment while promoting her latest film Something Borrowed and proudly announced that Bellamy had recently popped the question.

'It was very sweet. It was very romantic,' People magazine quoted her as saying.

Jessica Simpson sets wedding date

Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has revealed that she and fiance Eric Johnson have set a date for their wedding.

'I'm still trying to figure out what to wear! I don't know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful,' Usmagazine.com quoted the actress as saying.

'I kind of have a couple ideas in my head, and I have a date; I'm really excited! the Style Icon of the Year said at the mag's Hot Hollywood party at L.A's Eden.

Simpson, who got engaged to former NFL player Johnson in November, said she isn't worried about slimming down before the big day.

'I just have to work out on my own. There is no regimen I need to follow. There's no diet I need to follow. I just need to do some things for myself and that's it. And that will make me feel the happiest,' the singer said.

'No exercise is fun! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight -- and lift some weights and do what I can!' she added.

Miranda Kerr flaunts post-baby curves in bikini

Australian model Miranda Kerr has showed off her post-baby curves in a bikini photoshoot.

Kerr, 28, posed in a strappy bikini by Zingara Swimwear, and a white mini dress by Lorie Lester, the Herald Sun reported.

While she has retained the flat stomach and long, toned legs that make her the envy of millions, she now looks like she can fill out the Victoria's Secret lingerie far better.

The new mother, who is still breastfeeding, appears to love her resulting curves and worked the camera as she modelled the Have Faith swimwear range last week.
