Country star Taylor Swift bagged four Grammy Awards at the prestigious US music ceremony in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old won Best Country Album as well as the Album of the Year for Fearless, and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for the track White Horse.
Beyonce Knowles' six awards included Song of the Year, Best R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song -- all for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
She also won Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance award for At Last and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Halo. Beyonce was additionally honoured for contemporary the R&B album with I Am... Sasha Fierce.
A R Rahman couldn't ask for more as he scooped two awards at the awards ceremony.
In rap, Jay-Z, D.O.A won Best Rap Solo Performance for Death of Auto-Tune.

Eminem, Dr Dre, 50 Cent -- Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group for Crack A Bottle.
Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West -- Best Rap/Song Collaboration for Run This Town
Eminem -- Best Rap Album for Relapse
In the R&B category the winners are:
Maxwell -- Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for Pretty Wings
Jamie Foxx and T-Pain -- Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for Blame It
In the pop category the winners are:
Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat -- Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for Lucky
Jason Mraz -- Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for Make it Mine
Atlanta-based country Zac Brown Band won the Grammy for Best New Artist beating fellow nominees Keri Hilson, MGMT, Silversun Pickups and the Ting Tings.
One of the biggest awards of the night went to Kings of Leon. The band won Best Record of The Year for Use Somebody.
In rock, Green Day took home the Best Rock Album award for 21st Century Breakdown.
In dance, Lady Gaga won Best Dance Recording for Poker Face and electronic/dance album for The Fame.
Taylor's male counterpart in the Best Country Vocal Performance award went to Keith Urban for Sweet Thing.
Meanwhile, Lady Antebellum won Best Country Performance By Duo or Group With Vocals for I Run To You.
