Bollywood babes we'd love to see as femme fatale

Yet another nubile young thing takes to the bad side this week as Jacqueline Fernandes takes on the femme fatale part in Murder 2.

It isn't easy being a femme fatale, however. Sexy, stylish, overwhelming, irresistible, believably injurious.

Here, then, is my wishlist of ten Hindi film actresses I'd like to see as bad, bad girls:

Mallika Sherawat

She's played a vamp before, but films opposite Himesh Reshammiya shouldn't count. We know she can be cold enough to play a serpent, and now just picture that delectable body poured into a catsuit. It's enough to make Batman sweat.

Sonam Kapoor

Bollywood's resident fashionista, Sonam's chic enough to be a supervillain. If the Devil wore Prada, this tall stunner poured into Chanel would pack just as lethal a punch.

Articulate and icy, she'd be a worthy adversary to any young stud, complete with conversational gambits and distracting outfits.

Deepika Padukone

Remember the Bond film GoldenEye, where a woman named Xenia Onatopp specialized in crushing men to death with her thighs?

Well, that sounds like an ideal job for D-Pad, her stunning legs finally doubling up for more than eye-candy work.

Priyanka Chopra

Granted, the first time Piggy Chops rose to prominence was with a vamp role in Aitraaz, and her last major release Saat Khoon Maaf saw her bump off several husbands, but we humbly suggest going one better and giving her fangs.

And many a man would be willing to be bitten by PC.

Vidya Balan

She sucked off a thumb in Ishqiya and drove the populace wild, and Balan -- decidedly more voluptuous than most of her industry ilk -- has both the curves and the candour to play an old-school villainess, one who shows off both cunning and cleavage in equal measure.

Katrina Kaif

Kaif robbed banks in her lingerie in her debut film, Boom, and while we agree with that in principle, it is only now that she's developed into enough of an actress to actually pull off being well and truly bad on screen.

Also, she'd totally rock a cloak.

Kareena Kapoor

The hottest woman in the industry, Bebo has it all, from ravishing body to phenomenal mouth, and the panache to carry off any kinda role.

She's been bad before, but the picture of her as a cold-blooded killer, or as one half of a desi Bonnie and Clyde, is a lipsmacking one.

Malaika Arora Khan

There's always been something very very wicked about the supremely sauce queen of the item song. She's haughty, looks distinctly out of anyone's league, and more than capable of hurling daggers with her eyes.

And has enough attitude to kick Tyra Banks' butt. Good guys, beware this cougar.

Tabu

Old habits die hard. We remain eternally besotted by Tabu's insanely sexy and now legendary femme fatale turn in Maqbool, and given just how tasty this powerful actress continues to look, the time is ripe for her to cross over to the dark side again.

We remain in wait, drooling loyally.

Bipasha Basu

She's played loads of bad girl roles, but that doesn't mean she should stop. We've missed Basu's smoking hot body on screen for a while now, and it'd be great to see her in slinkily cut outfits terrorizing hapless leading men, men distracted into submission by her bottom, no doubt.
