2021 has been an extraordinary year for breakout talent, who win the hearts of audiences in various films and Web series.
IMDb has recognised the efforts of these artists and awarded them the Breakout Talent of the Year 2021.
Among them, The White Tiger actor Adarsh Gourav has won the STARmeter Award, topping the list of page views with more than 200 million monthly IMDb visitors.
Vikrant Massey has won for his Outstanding Performance in the thriller Haseen Dillruba.
Shahana Goswami has won for her hard-hitting performance in Bombay Begums and Sai Tamhankar for her winning performance in Navarasa.
Manoj Bajpayee has bagged the IMDb Breakout Talent Awards for Ray.
On receiving the STARmeter Award, Adarsh tells Subhash K Jha, "I feel extremely happy and proud to receive the IMDb Breakout STARmeter Award. It's a platform my generation has grown up using and to be validated for my efforts by them feels very flattering and encouraging.
