Aditya Roy Kapoor, who has shaped into a fine actor, will not do multiple hero films any more.

He prefers solo hero films only.

After all, Malang worked like a charm for the actor.

One would have thought that Aditya would immediately say yes to Malang Director Mohit Suri's next, but he turned it down as the part in Ek Villain 2 had a better part for John Abraham.

"In Sadak 2, Aditya was reduced to a prop while Sanjay Dutt hogged every frame. Aditya said yes to Sadak 2 because he cannot say no to Mahesh Bhatt. The Bhatts gave Aditya his biggest hit in Aashiqui 2."

"In Ludo, he has to share the limelight with Abhishek Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. But from now on, Aditya will only be seen in solo hero films."

"With Malang having done well, certain new opportunities present themselves," Aditya says.

"I think on account of the role being so different from what I've done before, people are thinking of me in ways they had not before. That's exciting."

Aditya's first solo hero film will be Ahmed Khan's Om: The Battle Within.
