Kabir Khan is having a tough time casting the leading lady for his next film Tubelight, starring Salman Khan.
While the filmmaker would like to cast his dear friend Katrina Kaif, Salman is apparently keen on roping in Deepika Padukone.
Says a source, "While Kabir would like to cast his pal Katrina, whom he has worked with earlier in New York, Ek Tha Tiger and Phantom, Salman has been getting feelers from Deepika. He feels an untried fresh pair at this point of time would make more sense."
There is also the widespread belief in the trade that Katrina and Salman onscreen together would not ignite the box office.
Kabir, however, feels he needs to stand by Katrina at this juncture in her life when she’s trying to regain the ground she lost while focusing on her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.
While we wait and see who is finally cast, we ask *you*, dear readers, which heroine would look good opposite Salman?
