Director: Arasu Anthare
Cast: Neenasam Satish, Sindhu Loknath

Arasu Anthare, who shot to fame with the lyrics of the song Ellalu Oduva Manase in the film Siddlingu, makes his directorial debut with Love In Mandya.

“The film begins in Mandya and moves to Tamil Nadu. The boy and girl elope from their homes and that has a comical touch,” says Anthare.

The film has four villains, who do not mouth any dialogues, and that is unique to the movie’s narrative, he adds.

“I play a cable guy, who is a fan of Ambarish," says Neenasam Satish. "I fall in love with this girl and we end up running away from home. I take her to Tamil Nadu without being serious about how to lead my life,” he says.

Sindhu Loknath explains her role in the movie: “I play a simple village belle, who is naughty and fights a lot. She ends up falling in love with the guy with whom she fights often.”

The music is by Anoop Seelin. The song Current Hoda Timealli has been sung by Bappi Lahiri. He last sang a Kannada song for the movie Africadalli Sheela. The song Opkondbutlu Kanla has gone viral on the Internet.

Sugunan is the cinematographer and Uday Mehta has produced the movie. It has been shot on location in Mandya, Hosur and Chikkamagaluru.
