Making history at Lord's all over again.
Ranveer Singh and Kabir Khan have started prepping for 83, which is set to release on August 30, 2019.
Director and star are currently in London to witness the India-England Test at Lord's.
When the rain washed away the first day's play, Kabir and Ranveer met up with Sachin Tendulkar.
Kabir posted the picture on Instagram and noted, 'Sachin was 9 years old when he saw on television Kapil's Devils win the World Cup in 1983 right here at this ground. That win inspired him to want to play for India. 35 years later we kick off the prep for our film 83 at the Lords... Can't get better than this can it?'
83 is about India winning the cricket World Cup for the first time in June 1983.
Ranveer plays Kapil Dev, who led Team India to the historic triumph.
