Actor Vivek Oberoi, who fractured his leg while shooting for a Mani Ratnam film in Kolkata, will undergo surgery at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital on Thursday evening.
Dr Sanjay Agarwala, who will operate upon Vivek, said his team had two options -- put the actor's injured leg in a cast or carry
Dr Agarwala said Vivek would be able to walk with the help of crutches in a day or two after the surgery.
He said this type of surgery is called 'inter-locking nailing' in medical parlance and the broken bone will take at least three months to heal.
The operation is likely to last one-and-a-half hours, Dr Agarwala said.
