Vineeth Sreenivasan returns as leading man after many years

A scene from Ormayundo Ee MukhamVineeth Sreenivasan made his debut as a singer and went on to become an actor after a while.

Later on, he directed three movies, including the blockbuster Thattathin Marayathu.

His last celluloid turn came as a young doctor, earlier this year in Ohm Shaanthi Oshaana.

And now, the latest one has him playing the male lead in debutant director Anvar Sadik's Ormayundo Ee Mukham, releasing today.

He plays Gautham, the scion to a big pharmaceutical group. He is in love with Nithya (Namita Pramod), an artist.

The director says it's a musical love story.

"Yes, I have been reluctant to accept acting assignments, but I liked the way this story was narrated to me," says Vineeth.

Ormayundo Ee Mukham is produced by Jaison Elamgulam under the banner of R J Creations.

Jithu Damodar is the cinematographer and the music has been scored by Shaan Rahman.
