Three-time National Award winner Urvashi Sarada makes a comeback to Malayalam films in director Jayaraj's Nayika (Heroine). She plays the role of a famous actress of an earlier era. The cast also includes Jayaram, Mamta Mohandas and Padmapriya.
"Nayika is the story of a heartthrob from the past named Gracy who ruled the screen for a while and later disappeared from the scene. A young filmmaker Aleena (Mamta Mohandas) unveils the mysteries in her life through a documentary," says Jayaraj.
Jayaram plays the role of a hero from the past named Anand, while Padmapriya plays the young Gracy and Siddique plays the role of a studio owner named Stephen muthalali
