Tuesday, December 14, saw Steven Tyler turn into what E!Online calls 'a rock 'n' roll relic.'
Grandparent status was bestowed on the aging Aerosmith vocalist as his daughter Liv Tyler gave birth to a baby boy.
Milo, weighing eight pounds on delivery, is the first child for Tyler, 27, and Royston Langdon, her 32-year-old British rocker husband. And the first grandchild for Steven, 54, the never-say-die rock wailer.
News of the birth was confirmed by Liv Tyler's publicist, Stephen Huvane, who said the couple was 'thrilled.'
People reported that Tyler had a quick labour and felt 'terrific' afterward. The magazine quotes a source close to the actress saying, 'My baby is so handsome, I can't stand it.'
In an inevitability that could possibly be called tragic, the child seems to have inherited the massive familial mouth, the Tyler family trademark. 'He also has full lips,' the source said, confirming this.
Liv got her big break in her dad's 1994 video, Crazy. She has starred in almost 20 films in the last decade, and is best known as the lovesick Arwen in Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
