Twilight sweeps Teen Choice Awards

Vampire movie Twilight swept away the Teen Choice Awards by winning 11 awards.

The 2008 hit film walked away with best movie drama gong, while lead stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won the best actor trophies.

Twilight also won awards for best romance, best liplock.

Cam Giganget was named best villain and Taylor Lautner lauded as the year's fresh face male.

Pattinson was also named choice male hottie alongside choice female hottie Megan Fox, reports the Daily Star.

Aussie actor Hugh Jackman bagged the award for best Movie Actor Action Adventure for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Miley Cyrus got four trophies in the acting categories -- two for her big screen outing in Hannah Montana: The Movie and two for her Hannah Montana TV show.

Her hit track The Climb' has been named single of the year and her Jonas Brothers collaboration Before the Storm won the best summer song.

The Jonas Brothers, who hosted the show and performed their track Much Better, won five surfboards, including male red-carpet icons and breakout TV show (Jonas).

Gossip Girl stars Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester walked away with TV actor and TV actress awards.

Pop diva Britney Spears was honoured with the coveted Ultimate Choice award.

9. Choice Award: Britney Spears.

11.Choice female hottie, Megan Fox
