Sab Television has launched a new show, Krazy Kiya Re, which hopes to break away from other reality shows.

The show will have three rounds, Geetantar, Googly and Bhashantar. The first consists of twisting tunes, where the contestant has to sing the lyrics of one song on the tune of another. Googly would have original compositions flowing into the actual song and coming back to the original composition. In the Bhashantar round, contestants have to translate a Hindi song into a language of their choice.

Sachin Pilgaonkar and Perizaad Zorabian will judge the show.

"The show is completely different and unusual," Perizaad tells us. "The contestants are really talented and innovative and the viewers will be surprised with their talent and energy.

"I will look at the presentation, joy, performance and see how I will enjoy as a viewer. The technical part will be taken care of by Sachinji," she added.

The eight competing singers are Jaywardhan Verma, Ruby Jamgbarwala, Sagar Acharya, Sandeep Roy, Shifa Ansari, Amar Kesari, Vikas Vish and Ankitaa Bhattacharji.

The show will go on air on May 9. It will be telecast every Friday at 8 pm on Sab TV.
