After showcasing the melodramatic exploits of the Virani family for five years, Star TV's superhit television soap Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is ready to take a generation jump.
But the show's creator Ekta Kapoor firmly denies rumours about actors being signed on to play various roles.
"Why is everyone talking about me signing this and that actor? Who has signed these actors? It may be some other production house wanting to make their own Kyunkii Saas!" Ekta exclaims.

For the role of Tulsi Krishna, Balaji Telefilms received 60,000 applications.
"Our computer crashed and we had to start our search from scratch. Among the fresh characters on Kyunkii, Tulsi Krishna is the most vital. I hope she continues the Tulsi legacy," says Ekta.
Hasn't Iqbal Khan of Kaisa Yeh Pyarr Hai been signed on for Kyunkii? "No, not for Kyunkii," reveals Ekta.
"I will do a fresh show with him. He is awesome and such a nice guy. Iqbal, Hiten Tejwani and Eijaaz Khan are my three actors who remain down-to-earth. Eijaaz is the male lead in my new serial Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka on Star One," says Indian television's soap queen.
"Nimmo is played by a new girl, Sanjita. I found her at a Zoom (a television channel) party. I learnt that she had auditioned for a role in Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii. I saw the audition, and she was on. That's how I hope to find my Tulsi Krishna."
