Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has come out in support of former boyfriend Salman Khan's appointment as goodwill ambassador of India's contingent for the upcoming Rio Olympics.

Salman's selection had stirred up a controversy as many feel that it should have gone to a sports icon even as some sports personalities, actors and politicians support Indian Olympics Association's decision to appoint the popular movie star.

When asked about her views on the controversy, Aishwarya said, "I have to say that anyone, who is doing good to represent the country or working or speaking or standing for the betterment of art, music or sports, is wonderful and the person needs to be recognised."

The Kapil Sharma Show to go off air soon!

Kapil Sharma

The Kapil Sharma Show started with a particular plan in mind and it will go off air in 13 weeks.

According to a leading daily, Kapil said that for this new show, they have sorted a 26-episode series spanning over the next 13 weeks, unlike Comedy Nights with Kapil, which went on for long time due to its huge popularity.

With this, the 35-year-old actor assured that after a small break post 13 weeks, they will start the next season.

Though The Kapil Sharma Show started with much hype, it failed to live up to people's expectations in the first go.

Let's hope the makers pull up their socks for the upcoming episodes to tickle audiences' funny bone.
