Remember the 1998 hit Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala, which narrated the issues faced by a housewife named Shyamala?
Sangeetha played Shyamala in the film, which was directed by Sreenivasan, who also played her husband in the film. Sangeeta quit acting after her marriage.
Now she is back in Shibu Balan’s Nagaravaridhi Naduvil Njan, the shooting of which is currently underway at Thrissur. She is again cast opposite Sreenivasan.
“Sreenivasan plays Venu, who loses his job in the Gulf and returns home to some really testing times. Sangeetha is doing the role of Sunitha, his wife. Though she was not keen to make a comeback, we somehow managed to convince her. She has done a wonderful job in the film,” says the director.
