Anupam Kher was the Grand Marshal at the India Day Parade in New Jersey on Sunday, August 12.
The annual parade is hosted by the Indian Business Association and thousands of Indian Americans took to the streets of New Jersey to celebrate the Motherland.
'#IndiaDayParade at #NewJersey today was a very memorable day for me,' Kher tweeted.
'It was the most amazing feeling to see tricolour flying high. Thousands of fellow Indians came on the streets to celebrate what it means to be an Indian. Jai Hind.'
Actress Niharica Raizada and sportsperson Prachi Tehlan accompanied Kher.
