Box office collection: Rs 60.78 crore

After a string of hits, Ayushmann Khurranna was expected to hit a century with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan too.

Still, it managed to go past the Rs 50 crore mark and emerged as a fair success.

Badlapur, 2015
Box office collection: Rs 53 crore

One of Varun Dhawan's most acclaimed films, Badlapur has found a cult following over the years.

The actor took a big risk by stepping into an arena which was a far cry from his Student of the Year or Dulhania series.

He delivered well as an actor in this Sriram Raghavan thriller.

The presence of Nawazuddin Siddiqui helped too.

Gunday, 2014
Box office collection: Rs 78 crore

The kind of opening that Ali Abbas Zafar's Gunday took surprised one and all.

Though the follow through post the opening weekend was just about okay, the film had done its job to emerge as a good success.

The multi-starrer cast, comprising of Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, ensured that there was a lot in there for the masses to cherish.

Special 26, 2013
Box office collection: Rs 67 crore

Special 26 should have emerged as a far bigger success than it eventually did.

A superb thriller by Neeraj Pandey, it had fine performances from Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill, Anupam Kher, Rajesh Sharma, and many other actors.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, 2012
Box office collection: Rs 40 crore

One of the few Valentine's Day releases to find its way among the top 10 February hits, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu was a sweet film that did well on its release.

It was appreciated by multiplex audiences, for which it was aimed.

Featuring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, it was a good looking film on screen.

Tanu Weds Manu, 2011
Box office collection: Rs 40 crore

On its release, Tanu Weds Manu was a regular romcom, which did not carry much expectations.

But Director Aanand L Rai had an ace up his sleeves and it was his conviction in the subject that took it to the theatres despite delays in its release.

Result? A good success that was followed by a blockbuster sequel.
