How far Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi have come!
Barely two years ago, during a chat a round table chat with journalist Rajeev Masand, the actors -- part of a group of upcoming Bollywood performers -- revealed their vastly different Mumbai backgrounds.
Bandra born and raised Ananya, fresh from the success of her debut film Student Of The Year 2, claimed that stars kids have to struggle too, and then equated success with an appearance on the Koffee With Karan chat television show.
Goregaon native Siddhant retorted, 'Jahan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahan unka struggle shuru hota hai (Where our dreams end, their struggle begins there).'
The Gully Boy's answer went viral, probably turning Ananya's silver spoon bitter for her.
But all that is in the past now, and the duo, who are playing a couple in Gehraiyaan, seem pretty close in real life.
During a promotional event for the film at a Mumbai five star on Monday, Ananya and Siddhant accompanied Director Shakun Batra and Deepika Padukone.
Mumbai's currently chilly (well for the city) weather caught up with Ananya, especially because of her attire for the day.
In an awww moment, Siddhant took off his blazer and draped it around his co-actor.
