Telugu actor and choreogrpaher K Vijay, who was in Nepal to shoot a new film titled etakaram.com, has died in the earthquake that has claimed over 3600 lives so far.
The 25-year-old actor was accompanied by 20 members of the film's unit -- they had left for Nepal on April 15.
Hyderabad-based music director Kishan was quoted as saying that he received information on Monday that Vijay died when he was returning from shooting with three other people.
The car in which they were travelling overturned. While he died on the spot, the others were injured.
The Telugu film industry has requested the government to arrange for Vijay's body to be brought back to India.
The late actor hailed from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.
