Sussanne 'happy to be out of Hrithik-Kangana mess', says friend

In the whole controversy about Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut's legal tangles, the heart reaches out to two people who have nothing to do with the mess: Hrithik's former wife Sussanne Khan and his father Rakesh Roshan.

Hrithik and Sussanne's marriage broke up in December 2013, before the colourful tales of his life exploded in the public domain, and the ex-wife is said to be happy to be kept out of it all.

Says a source, "She made up her mind to make an exit perhaps sensing what lay ahead. She doesn’t even read, let alone think about what’s happening in Hrithik Roshan’s life. She moved out in time, and has moved on with her life."

Unfortunately, Rakesh Roshan cannot be granted the luxury of shutting himself out.

In his 45-year career as an actor and filmmaker, there has not been a whiff of scandal. The senior Roshan married the woman he fell in love with -- veteran filmmaker J Om Prakash's daughter Pinky -- and has remained happily wedded for over three decades.

Now, when the family is dragged into the public domain with proclamations of a litigated liaison, the atmosphere in the Roshan family seems impaired.
