Putting at rest all speculation, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen on Tuesday admitted that there were 'serious' differences between her and Coca Cola over her modelling contract.

Sen had been roped in last year to endorse Thums Up.

Reports in a section of media said the differences had led Sen's lawyers to send a notice to Coca Cola.

Reacting to the controversy, a Coca Cola India spokesman in Delhi had said, "There are some issues relating to the contract between us and Sen. Lawyers from both the sides are discussing the matter to resolve the issue."

In a statement in Mumbai on Tuesday night, Sen's manager Pankaj Kharbanda said the actress would like to confirm that there were serious issues pending between her and the soft drink major.

Their respective legal advisers are seized of the matter, he said adding Sen has been advised not to comment on the differences.
