Meera Jasmine is very much active in the Kannada film industry and has been signing some meaningful films.
As a matter of fact, the actress has just completed shooting for two Kannada films -- Ijjodu (directed by M S Sathyu better known for his films like Garm Hava in Hindi) and Bara (Famine).
In Ijjodu, Meera plays a devadasi who fights the system. She is paired with Anirudhdh in the film.
Meera has also signed Devaru Kotta Thangi. Directed by Sai Prakash, Meera plays Shivaraj Kumar's sister.
Another film is Lagori with Puneet Raj Kumar in the lead for top producer Rockline Venakatesh. The film will be directed by Yogaraj Bhat of Mungaru Male fame.
