NTR Jr's much awaited Ramayya Vasthavvayya releases today
It’s time for the release of NTR Jr’s next film, Ramayya Vasthavvayya (RV), produced by ‘Dil’ Raju and directed by Harish Shankar. The film has two pretty girls, Samantha and Shruti Hassan (in a special role).
The film was originally scheduled to release on September 27 but was deferred to October 11 due to the political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh.
Harish Shankar is riding a wave of success after the stupendous success of Gabbar Singh (the Telugu remake of Dabangg) with Pawan Kalyan and Shruti. He has cast Shruti again in RV.

NTR Jr is known for his dancing and hi-voltage performances. In Ramayya Vasthavvayya he plays a college student which he has not done for a while. Being a trained classical dancer, NTR does the complicated steps easily. In RV he is said to have done some risky action scenes too in one take for the climax where 1000 junior artistes participated.
NTR Jr is cast opposite Samantha, the lucky girl who has been tasting success after success, most recently in Attarintiki Daaredi. Samantha and NTR had acted earlier in the ‘Dil’ Raju production Brindavanam.
Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh, P Ravi Shankar and Vidyullekha Raman also act in the film.

Two songs have been filmed in beautiful locales in Spain. Hamsa Nandini and NTR are part of a song shot in a studio in Hyderabad. Neeraja Kona (sister of writer Kona Venkat) is the stylist who helped to design the look for NTR Jr and Samantha in the film.
While Harish Shankar has penned the story for Ramayya Vasthavvayya, Ramesh Reddy and Satish Veghnesa are behind the screenplay.
Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer and Gowtham Raju, the editor. Thaman SS composes the music which has already topped the charts.
Ramayya Vasthavvayya is a regular commercial film with romance, comedy, action, song and dance and filled with twists and turns in the plot.
