Vineeth Sreenivasan was a singer before he became an actor. Some time later, he turned his attention to writing scripts and then made his debut as a director with the film, Malarvady Arts Club, which was well received.
Produced by Sreenivasan's Lumiere Films, the shooting of Thattathin Marayathu has started in Thalassery. Nivin Pauly, who was launched by Vineeth in Malarvady Arts Club, plays the lead in the film. Sunny Wayne, who won accolades for his role as Kurudi in Second Show is playing an important role in the film.
The heroine is reportedly a fresh face.
