Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Rahman team up to play three police officers sharing a great friendship in director Rosshan Andrrews’ Mumbai Police.
Rosshan Andrrews, who made his debut with the cult comedy Udayananu Tharam, and then made Note Book, Ividam Swargamanu and Cassanovva, says that this one is a thriller. Rahman plays the city police commissioner, while Prithviraj and Jayasurya are the assistant commissioners under different jurisdictions.
The three have been posted in adjacent areas in Kochi, but they have been nicknamed the ‘Mumbai Police’ because of their different style of policing.
Scripted by Bobby and Sanjay, the shooting of the film is currently going on in Kochi.
Mumbai Police is produced by Nisad Haneefa. R Diwakaran wields the camera and Gopi Sundar scores the music.
