Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea is all set to make her directorial debut with home production Veere Di Shaadi.

Buzz is that the film is adapted from the Hollywood drama The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.
Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film will star Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

SS Rajamouli shoots climax scenes for Baahubali 2
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has started shooting for the war sequence for his film Baahubali 2 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
He shared a picture from the sets, above, and tweeted: ‘Fantastic first day at war... Months of planning helped everything roll out smoothly.. Jai Mahishmathi..!!’
Lee Whitaker, who has worked on films like Fast & Furious 5, Pearl Harbor and Jurassic Park 3, is the action director for the war scenes.
The film, which is a sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning, stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty. It will release on April 14.

National Award-winning actor Anupam Kher has signed his 500th film: the romantic comedy The Big Sick.
‘Happy to announce my 500th film 'The Big Sick'. And who else but to have Robert De Niro congratulate me. Jai Ho,’ Kher tweeted with a congratulatory video from Hollywood actor Robert De Niro.
‘My 500th film #ThaBigSick stars Holly Hunter, Ray Romano, Zoe Kazan & @kumailn. It has been a great journey,’ he added.
Meanwhile, the 61-year-old actor met American actor Willem Dafoe in New York.

Salman Khan took to social media to release a new song titled 440 Volt from his upcoming film Sultan.
‘440 Pata nahi but apna version 12 volt toh hoga minimum =-D , Hope barah volt is kafi fr now? #440Volt,’ Khan tweeted.
The song is sung by Mika Singh.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh.

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is busy directing portions of his trilingual film Sabash Naidu in Los Angeles.
Kamal is filling in for the film’s director, T K Rajeev Kumar, who has been hospitalised.
