Graham Moore gives the Best Speech at Oscars

In a brave acceptance speech for the Best Adapted Screenplay trophy, The Imitation Game writer Graham Moore dedicated his award to teenagers, who are struggling to fit in. Several celebrities took to Twitter to praise him:

Neil Patrick Harris fails to impress

From singing and dancing to showing off his ripped abs, actor Neil Patrick Harris tried his best as the Oscar host. However, some celebrities weren't too impressed.

Vir Das: As a Comedian, every time I see someone else host the oscars all I ever think is....so this is why Eddie Murphy dropped out. The Oscars does this thing where one year they get a professional Comic, the next they hire an actor to look awkward. Repeat, repeat.

Amitabh: Happy for Whiplash and Birdman

Amitabh Bachchan was up early to catch the Oscars. 'Up at 5:30 to watch the OSCARS .. some predictable results .. slept through some of them, but woke up on desired ones !! OSCARS ... happy for 'Whiplash' and 'Birdman' truly deserving .. especially the three for 'Birdman' director, Alejandro .. !!' the 72-year-old actor tweeted.

'Sean Penn comment on declaring Alejandro award .. " who gave this SOB a green card " !! Hmmmmm ... !!' he added.

Madhur Bhandarkar pays tribute to his mother


Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's mother Shanta succumbed to cardiac arrest over the weekend. She was 79.

He shared a picture of them together (above) and remembered her on Twitter: 'My Mother taught me everything in life.However, she forgot to teach me how to live without her. Will miss u a lot.'

First look: Kangana turns painter for Katti Batti


The first look of Kangana Ranaut's character in Katti Batti is out. Nikhil Advani, who is directing the film, shared it on Twitter. 

The upcoming romantic-comedy, which also features Imran Khan, will release on September 18.
