Pooja Missra: I never expected to go out like this

Pooja Misrra spent eight long weeks in the Bigg Boss house. She was seen in various avatars, including the infamous joker look, which she carried off quite well.

Her captaincy seemed to irritate Sidharth Bhardwaj so she decided to confront him. But instead of talking, the two ended up having an argument and she lost her cool and pushed him. Since physical violence is a no-no on the show, she was evicted.

The former veejay talks to Rajul Hegde about her unceremonious eviction and fellow inmates she was constantly at loggerheads with.

You were upset after Bigg Boss asked you to leave the house at 3am.

Yes. I never expected to go out like this. I am upset because certain elements (Sidharth) in the house threatened to climb the wall and leave the house if Bigg Boss did not do something about the incident.

I was framed; they have even labelled me as violent and mentally unstable. I agree that we can't get physical during a fight -- that is the format of the show -- but what the housemates were saying about me was nothing but emotional violence.

'I was initially isolated and then they started provoking me'

Viewers have mostly seen you either shouting or fighting with your fellow housemates.

Initially, I was isolated, and later, when everybody saw that I am a sweet person, they started provoking me just to get an irritated reaction.

Some of them crossed the limits. Like Sky (Akashdeep) used to bang the washroom doors in my face. Without any reason, some of the housemates used to shout at me. Also they were abusing people's parents. I stood up and spoke against the wrong actions and for this people mistook me.

I was pushed against the wall to bring out the worst in me. The conditions in the house forced me to fight for my rights.

So what is the real Pooja like?

I am a calm person. I wanted to be like that, but the Bigg Boss house is full of drama. I told them to please spare me when they instigated me. Every time I would get saved from eviction and they would try to put down my confidence level, provoke me, and spoil my image.

So you don't have any regrets?

I do regret, and apologise to Bigg Boss, my family members and fans.

Sidharth was not ready to do the work assigned to him and as a captain I had to make sure that he does. But everybody misunderstood and overreacted to my temper.

Did you enjoy your stay in the house?

It was a roller-coaster ride. Living in the Bigg Boss house was nothing short of torture. There are a few people like Sky, Amar, Mehak and Shraddha who are playing games.

I am shaken to know that I have been labelled as unstable, psycho, violent, druggy etc. How will I live with these tags?

Do you know that evicted contestants have been calling you a drama queen and saying that you're hungry for footage?

I was the most genuine person in the house; the crew, who have watched me 24/7, know this.

Most of the time I was without make-up or fake lashes and they are turning the tables on me and saying that I was doing it for the footage? That's sick!

Will you keep in touch with any of the housemates?

First let me get adjusted to the real world. I am right now in a transition phase and I am not sure what the real world is all about.

People have read those weird tags given to me by others and I am scared to think what people will think and say about me.

Would you like to go back to the house as a wild card?

I really don't know.
