We don’t know about intelligent but filmmaker Karan Johar’s often controversial celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan knows to keep things very, very interesting.
Season after season, catty stars end up ruffling a few feathers, which leads to furious backlash.
Barely two episodes old, the fourth season is already being talked about for Salman Khan’s ‘virgin’ quip and Rishi Kapoor’s alleged irritation over niece Kareena Kapoor addressing son Ranbir’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif as ’sister-in-law.’

When not finding excuses to gush about her husband, Kareena Kapoor Khan perpetually suffers from the foot-in-the-mouth syndrome. And that’s a quality that Koffee With Karan simply adores in its TRP boosting scheme.
First, she dubbed John Abraham ‘expressionless.’
When the model-turned-actor later came on the show, he was confronted about it and he graciously promised to ‘give her one expression’ whenever they do a movie together.
Next, Bebo targeted her on-off foe mischievously inquiring about Priyanka Chopra’s highly anglicised accent.
Not to forget her going on and on about dancing to a medley of Katrina Kaif’s item numbers during her cousin Ranbir’s future sangeet ceremony, which seems to have irked her uncle Rishi a great deal.
Priyanka Chopra
Unlike John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra came prepared with ammunition to unleash her arch-rival.
Responding to the accent query, the new face of Guess fashion retorted, ‘I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where boyfriend (now husband Saif Ali Khan) got his.’
Continuing to add salt to the injury, when the show’s persistent host Karan Johar asked her what she would steal from the computer of stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid or Kareena, the Dostana babe spewed sarcasm, ‘Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?’

Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor seems to have done most damage on KJo’s show. She managed to rile the director who launched her as well.
On being asked how would she respond if she woke up as Sanjay Leela Bhansali one day, the actress wisecracked, ‘Get colour in my life -- apart from blue and black.'
Bhansali, ever so touchy, took offence and lashed out against his rival and protegee in print.
Saif Ali Khan
Another victim of the botox insinuation turned out to be Koena Mitra. The starlet of films like Musafir and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena was Saif Ali Khan’s pick for botox gone bad.
‘Poor Koena, I can’t think of anyone else,’ winked the usually courteous actor.
Koena, understandably, felt hurt to be at the receiving end of such a disparaging remark on national television.
Tusshar Kapoor
Tusshar Kapoor isn’t the one to attract controversy. But the playful format of Koffee With Karan can bring out the irreverent side of even a sober chap like TK.
During the infamous rapid fire round, KJo asked him to give out the first name when he mention botox, Tusshar’s instant response was ‘Preity Zinta.’
Obviously, the Kal Ho Naa Ho star didn’t take it too kindly and calmed down only after Tusshar apologised and patched things up.
