"Reaching the finale is an achievement for me. I didn’t take up the show for money but for experience,” Tanisha adds.
Tanisha’s mother, actress Tanuja had been unhappy with her daughter’s decision to participate in the reality show.
Her resistance was evident even during the finale of the show.
When Armaan Kohli was given the mic to speak about Tanisha, Tanuja was seen shaking her head in disapproval of her daughter’s choice.
However, Tanisha insists that "Armaan is my friend and he has always supported me on the show. My family is neither upset with Armaan nor me.”
Tanisha said her family was never against her doing the show but were just being protective.
Of reports that her brother-in-law, actor Ajay Devgn, had written to the channel to remove her from the show, she said, "I don't think the family wrote letters to take me out of the house.”
Tanisha's growing proximity to co-contestant Armaan Kohli had grabbed the headlines.
Quizzed about the intimate videos of the two of them, she said, “I have complete faith in my mother’s upbringing. I have to take the good with the bad.
“The media will write what they want to; that doesn’t mean it’s true. They are not inside the house and they are writing on the basis of what they are shown.
“I am a very affectionate person and I show my affection physically. Be it with Armaan, Andy, Elli or anyone else.”
Another housemate Asif Azim had remarked that the Tanisha-Armaan romance on the show had worked in her favour.
"I don't know, that is his view. I think I have proved myself. I was still in the show when he wasn't.”
So what next post Bigg Boss?
“I haven’t thought about it,” Tanisha said.
