Two Malayalam films are releasing today (July 19), directed by two debutant directors with a relatively fresh cast in the lead.

Crocodile Love Story

Two lovers and a crocodile play the lead in Anoop Ramesh’s Crocodile Love Story, produced under the banner of Anurag Motion Pictures.
The crocodile has been created digitally and the film is a romantic drama.
Two techies, Kiran and Nitya, get married without the consent of their families. Their life takes an interesting turn when a crocodile enters it.
The cast also includes Kalabhavan Mani, Manikkuttan and Prem Kumar. The film has been scripted by Sabari Sankar. The cinematographer is Praveen Panicker and the music director is Arun Siddharth.
Crocodile Love Story, Kunthapura release this weekend

Cast: Charuhasan, Biyon, Anu Hasan
Kunthapura is reportedly a tale of love and patriotism. The film is set in the 1920s and narrates the story of an Indian village that fought for its existence during British Raj.
The cast includes Charuhasan, Biyon, Anu Hasan, Priya Lal, Suzanne Roche and Mishal.
Produced by P C Jacob and Steson Stephen, Kunthapura has been scripted and directed by Joe Eshwar. Navas Ismael wields the camera while the music has been composed by Vimal T K and Gowri Lakshmi.
