Shiney Ahuja was produced at the magistrate's court in Andheri, northwest Mumbai, on charges that he had allegedly raped a maid who worked in his home. The actor's head was covered with a black cloth; this was removed when he stood before the magistrate. Dressed in a yellow t-shirt and a pair of grey jeans, Ahuja looked dazed. Magistrate P K Choudhary sentenced him to three days in police custody. The next hearing will be held on Thursday, June 18. The actor's advocate Shrikanth Shivade requested the magistrate to permit Ahuja's relatives to meet him at the police station. Text: Nithya Ramani. Video: Hitesh Harisinghani
