On Independence Day, Shah Rukh Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Rampal share their thoughts on how the youth is helping build a better India, and send out a message to their fans.

Independence is all about hope for me.

Today’s youth has the power to change the country, and they are bringing about the changes.

The older generations inherited the babu mentality from the British, but the young Indians are trying to fight the corruption. I am sure 15 years down the line, we will see a lot of improved changes in our society.

Today’s youth are concerned about the country, rather than just themselves. Like my son, he's naughty and hot-headed but at the same time, he is intelligent, simple and corruption-free. The youth will continue to have certain issues but I am sure they will always have a solution to fight it out.

Talking about films, I think Chak De! India was the best patriotic movie in recent times, and not just because I was in it!

Sports-based movies always have a strong patriotic angle.

Take the recent Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It is such a beautiful film with a nice message.

Cinema has and will always continue to change society.

Independence Day is a big celebration of every Indian, as so many have given their lives to attain freedom.

Looking at the current scenario, I think our country can be improved in a lot of ways. The youth is working towards the betterment of the country.

Today's youth is taking a stand on issues that need to be addressed. They are raising their voice against the wrong that is happening in the society.

I am sure we will have a better and a bright future.

I think everyone should celebrate Independence Day, as it is the celebration of freedom.

There is nothing bigger than celebrating an independent life.

I think Mahatma Gandhi's saying -- 'Be the change that you want to see' -- should be applied by every Indian for the betterment of our country, so that we have a bright future.
