Bollywood stars turned to Twitter to tweet their wishes for the Eid festival. Here’s what they said:

Priyanka Chopra: ‘Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate today.. May Allah give us all strength peace n happiness.’

Expectations are riding high on Rohit Shetty’s latest film Chennai Express, as the film gears up to release in seven new overseas markets. Buzz is that the screen count for the film will be releasing in more than 3,500 screens in India. 

Several Bollywood stars tweeted wishes for Shah Rukh Khan and the film:

Karan Johar: ‘The word is out that #ChennaiExpress is a huge BLOCKBUSTER!!! Seeing it as I get back!!! This express is going to hit the roof!!!!’

Sachin Tendulkar has rendered a Marathi poem for Farhan Akhtar’s MARD (Men Against Rape And Discrimination) campaign.

Confirming the news, Farhan shared a picture of them together and tweeted: ‘Thank you @sachin_rt for supporting #MARD. Marathi poem in his voice to go online soon.’ 

Sonakshi Sinha, Akshay Kumar celebrate Eid with Bismillah!

Sonashi Sinha and Akshay Kumar recently released the Eid club track titled Bismillah from Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara.

Sonakshi shared a still from the song and tweeted: ‘Chand zameen par aaya hai tu, haath utha kar busmillah! The team of @ouatimaofficial gives you something to groove on this eid.’ 

Akshay added: ‘Here's a special Eidi from the team of #OUATIMD to all of you this Eid. Time to say #Bismillah!’

Picturised on Akshay, Sonakshi and Imran Khan, the song has been rendered by Anupam Amod (Pritam’s assistant) and written by Rajat Arora.

Pooja Bhatt is looking for a new-age Helen!

While Randeep Hooda has been finalised as the male lead for Pooja Bhatt's next production venture Cabaret, the filmmaker is still looking for the leading lady. Pooja says that the film is going to be completely musical.

‘CABARET is a musical bonanza! Of that I am certain. Have zoned in on our Male lead. If only life will present us a new age Helenji as well!’ the 41-year-old director tweeted.

Meanwhile, she is busy recording songs for the film. ‘Honored to be working again with @RoopkumarRathod after Jism (Shikayat Hai) & @Shilparao11 whose voice I truly admire. The director of Cabaret Kaustav Niyogi has written & composed all songs as well!’ she added.

Poonam Pandey bags another film

Poonam Pandey's debut film Nasha may not have done well at the box office but the starlet has managed to bag another film. She will be playing a desi beauty in yet-untitled film.
