PIX: Vidya Balan visits Mahim Dargah

Her upcoming film Bobby Jasoos is set to release on July 4.

Actress Vidya Balan, who will be seen in the role of an aspiring detective in Samar Shaikh-directed Bobby Jasoos this Friday, paid a visit to the Mahim Dargah in Mumbai for blessings.

This is Vidya's second film this year after Shaadi Ke Side Effects costarring Farhan Akhtar was met with a lukewarm response at the box office earlier this year.

Bobby Jasoos has been produced by Dia Mirza and her fiance Sahil Sangha's production company Born Free Entertainment.

Incidentally, another film titled Jagga Jasoos is currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Govinda in lead roles.

For her holy visit to the dargah, the actress reportedly arrived in a taxi cab, causing quite a furor among fans and onlookers.

Bobby Jasoos is an important film for Vidya since her last successful film was Sujoy Ghosh's acclaimed whodunit Kahaani, that released two years ago.

Her last two films -- Ghanchakkar and Shaadi Ke Side Effects -- flopped at the box office.
